We would like to invite you to attend a Community/Member Meeting, May 19th, 1:30 PM, in the Big room at NABA.
The purpose of this meeting is to kick off NABA’s 2020 Campaign for new members with the goal of having 220 members by 2020 and provide and update on current NABA activities.
NABA’s primary goal is to offer a safe haven for anyone who wishes to recover from alcoholism. NABA membership helps insure that the NABA facility remains available and in good repair for the next generation of AA’s and Al-Anons that wish to come through our doors. Pure and simple, it is another form of 12th Step Work; it is about taking responsibility for the place where we attend our meetings. Membership is open to both AA members (at least 30 days sobriety) and Al-Anon members. Yes, Al-Anons can be members with full voting rights. Membership is $25 per month, with an additional initial charge of $10.00 for the key card.
Although not its primary purpose, membership does have a few privileges not open to the general public (access to the building during the day, access to downstairs during non-events, access to the members only room).
During the meeting we will also present the current status of projects that are in progress or have been recently completed.
- Summary of 2019 Facilities Survey
- Key Card Access System Update
- Small Room Remodel Effort
- Big room and lobby painting
We look forward to seeing you on May 19th.
